Our wonderful Pastor Elder Urban Turner is a role model and a prime example of what following faith is about. Called to ministry in 2005 Urban was ordained as and Elder In the Church of God In Christ in 2006. Outside of church Urban has had very successful business life, Founder and owner of multiple transportation companies and former vice president and vice president of other trucking companies. Urban graduated from Liberty University with his Bachelors and Masters degree. As he ventures through his pastoral assignment, his primary goal is to seek firs the kingdom of God and His righteousness, believing that all other things will be added (Matthew 6:33). Next, Urban trusts that there will be opportunities for us to work together to continue building the kingdom of God, strengthen our communities and serve the people who have been entrusted to our care.
